Day 17 - Skyspace

We've finally returned to beautiful weather!! To celebrate I wore my leg bone leggings under one of my favourite frocks - a floaty Bracewell one I got second hand. Some people find these legging too grotesque, but I think of them as very cheerful. Mind you, I spent my first year at the museum happily ensconced in accessioning dead things in jars. So maybe my tastes are different to most.

Today was the last day of the Materiality print symposium at the NGA. I was lucky enough to bump into a friend on my way into James Turrell's Skyspace and got her to take my photo there. The light inside is just spectacular and he perfect antidote to the sad grey weather we've been having.
The most special part of the frock is the racer back, so I've taken another shot of that.

I'm going to leave you today with a picture of the pretty bunch of flowers I stole on this afternoon's walk. My friend Hannah and I agree - be it flowers, fruit or vegetables - if it's hanging over the fence it's ours.

  1. Great leggings. Recently I saw leggings with spines printed on them. I like anything that's more kooky than dainty. :P

  2. Thanks Dayle. I'm with you, can't go past kooky. And we're not alone. Every time I wear these leggings I get people asking me about them, wanting to order some for themselves.
