Day 9: part one - day play

Libby and I had a bit of stitch'n'bitch this afternoon, which ended up with us spending more time at Wilbur's Cafe than sewing. I'm not sure if any of the three machines (2 sewing machines and 1 overlocker..... ooooooo yeah!) we had set up in various parts of my house got used, however Libby cut out a 1940s pattern to make and I did some hand sewing.

Earlier in the day I rode down to Dickson to see the boys at Mal Adjusted Bicycle Emporium. I'm getting prepared for Ride To Work Day on Wednesday and I needed a few things for my bike. This is my first skirt for Frocktober and just like Libby, I received this skirt in the internal mail. Libby and I have to stop giving each other gifts otherwise people will start talking! It is super comfy to ride in and I love the screen printed circle pattern detail.
It's now time for a nap in preparation for the Rockabilly Ball tonight!
