I know what you're thinking - that is a beautiful lawn. And you're right. It's all thanks to my housemate Steve's hard work and dedication with a lawn mower. He was also kind enough to take today's photo for me. Thanks Steve!
Today's frock is a 30s/70s inspired, purple silk Morrissey one I got (hugely discounted) years ago. Usually I believe things go on sale for a good reason. But this one is a winner. I can't imagine why everyone else passed it up. Except maybe because the neckline is way too low. But a pretty vintage slip - and my mother's old necklace - fixes that problem.
This is a gorgeous dress and what a great photograph. Steve should be cheif photographer!
