Catharine and I drove back to Newcastle last night and spent today hanging out in Newcastle. We spent the morning sewing and Catharine gave me the dress I am wearing today. I accessorised with her Mum's bangle and Catharine's cute little glittery hooded jacket.
I ended up catching up with all manner of old friends, swimming in the ocean baths, holding babies and playing board games with friends kids at the Lowlands Bowling Club. Even though our trip to Bellingen was cut short my road trip turned out to be an interesting adventure.I miss the Newcastle music scene, so many great venues and bands, but my favourite Newcastle band is Festivus. These boys are true crowd pleasers.
