Day 4, 2011: guest frocker Catharine

It was time to say goodbye to my Bellingen friends today and get on a plane to head back to Canberra. Before I left my lovely friend Dr Catharine, posed for me in a dress she got from a garage sale.

She picked it up for $1 thinking it was just fabric, then realised it was actually a dress. She took it to a dressmaker who re-attached a zip and shortened it from 1970s full length to knee length.

And although she initially thought it was hand made, it seems it is a Melbourne brand called La Scala!
