I met my friend Kerry for lunch and she kindly took my photo for me. She said I look like Mrs Claus, which is kinda true. Red is my favourite colour, can you tell?

Day 9, 2011: Spring, where'd you go?
Spring has been so cold it seems non-existent. Today was a balmy (and windy) 16 degrees in Canberra, so I decided to pull out some warm clothes and accessories and some colour to brighten things up. This is normally what I'd wear to I go to the footy in.
I think today's outfit is sponsored by St Vincent de Paul. Working from top to bottom, today I wore my hand knitted beret from the Vinnies at Mitchell, a scarf from my sister, a 1960s or 70s nurses cape from the Red Cross op shop in Goulburn, a red and white stripey t-shirt from the Vinnies at Mitchell, fingerless mitten/gloves from Dangerfield, a Chalky Digits skirt from Vinnies Gungahlin, red tights and Boots For Broads boots.
I met my friend Kerry for lunch and she kindly took my photo for me. She said I look like Mrs Claus, which is kinda true. Red is my favourite colour, can you tell?

How good are those Dangerfield fingerless mittens? I have two pairs, both red & white.
ReplyDeleteThey are very good, especially for bike riding in winter. But my thumbs get cold! :D
